I think it's safe to say that Nintendo dominated E3 this year with its unveiling of the Wii U, and, honestly, they deserve. I was thoroughly impressed with the console, especially its controller.

Badass. | | | |
It boasts:
- a 6.2-inch LCD touch-screen
- a camera
- a microphone
- an accelerometer
- the ability to transfer your game on-screen to your controller
Nintendo seems to be attempting to enter the same league as Microsoft and Sony, in terms of graphics and online play. Hopefully, they'll finally be able to with the Wii U. I really disliked the Wii because of its lack of HD support and the Wiimote, so I'm really looking forward to the Wii U. It's expected to be released in late 2012.
That thing looks really cool.
ReplyDeleteLooks good, I'm still waiting for a Microsoft/Xbox portable.
ReplyDeleteI don't know.. that seams like a LOT going on for a remote.. what kind of battery life will it have?
ReplyDeleteNo technical aspects were released, so we don't know yet.
ReplyDeleteI am withholding judgement for the Wii U. It could be potentially great, but I'm afraid it'll stifle the 3DS and games that may come out for it.
ReplyDeleteStill, good stuff, man.
Weird. But thats just my opnion.
ReplyDeleteWow, looks really cool. This is nice follow up to everything that Nintendo has been doing. Its pretty awesome.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand why Nintendo are getting such a bad press for this. How is this any worse than the Kinect and PSMove that were announced last year? At least Nintendo are doing something new and innovative (as always).
ReplyDeleteI never much liked the handheld gaming consoles. Although I have to say, this one looks quite different. Hopefully this will be a better experience then the others. I'm looking forward to it!
ReplyDeleteLooks exciting!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait.
ReplyDeleteOnly 1 Wii U controller per console.
ReplyDeleteKinda sucks =/
Followed!
I think its a really awesome idea, I just hope the Wii U supports 2 controllers
ReplyDeletelooks pretty awesome, but i probably wont get it
ReplyDeleteI wouldnt say that nintendo dominated e3. I think the PS Vita trumps this. But that's just my opinion.
ReplyDeletenope, I am not impressed with this, stick to ps3
